Stocks and Nifty Today



Indian Stock market started its first trading day of the week with a boom. The BSE benchmark gained 28 points on Monday. Sensex had lost 67 points in its last session on Friday and had closed at 17,811.
stock tipsSimilarly, the National Stock Exchange's Nifty gained 7 points reached and 5,394 points. Brokers said fresh buying by funds and retail investors and stand combination of Asian markets boosted market sentiment.
Gains were seen in the auto, metals and oil & gas while Capital goods and bank sectors were trading under pressure.
The BSE Midcap Index was up 0.28 percent and the BSE Small Cap Index moved 0.39 percent higher.
Sectoral indices,the BSE Oil and gas was up with 0.90 percent. The BSE Auto Index was up 0.32 percent and the BSE Metal Index increased 0.31 percent.

Nifty Today: Stock Tips for Intraday


Sensex decreased nearly 0.10 percent early on Thursday due to the lack of global and local cues. The losses were led by ht e country's major software company- Infosys followed by the HDFC Bank and ITC. The broader share index Nifty too opened volatile and was trading at 5,386 and was up 0.1 percent.
The Sensex increased by 7.5 points to 17,735.65 and Nifty was up 5 points to 5,386.15. After the independence day stock market was not much affected and the market was trading flat on Thursday.

Infosys decreased to 0.7 percent followed by HDFC Bank which shed 0.3 percent and ITC declined by 0.6 percent.

IDFC share was trading up by 2 percent. The gainers list also included Hero Motocorp and M&M which were up by 1.5% followed by Cipla, Ranbaxy Labs, Cairn India, Reliance Industries, Tata Steel, ACC, Grasim, Bank of Baroda, State Bank of India, Axis Bank, PNB and HDFC.

However Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, HUL, TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Sterlite, JSPL were trading in the Red line today.

The rupee was trading at Rs. 55.93/95 after touching 56 versus its previous close of Rs. 55.65/66.

1. ICICI Bank Ltd is a ‘BUY’ call with a target of Rs 1000 and a stop loss of Rs 955.
2. Hindustan Unilever Ltd is a ‘BUY’ call with a target of Rs 510 and a stop loss of Rs 488.
3. Adani Ports Ltd is a ‘BUY’ call with a target of Rs 138 and a stop loss of Rs 123.
4. Zee Entertainment Ltd is a ‘BUY’ call with a target of Rs 180 and a stop loss of Rs 169.

Nifty Tips and stock for 14th August 2012

Nifty opened flat in for the second trading day this week. The Bombay Stock Exchange shed nearly 21 points in the early trade today. The decline was due to the July inflation data amid profit-booking by speculators.
Though the BSE benchmark Sensex closed with a gain of 75.71 points on Monday, slipped by 20.43 points on Tuesday morning. The 30 share index opened at 17,613.02. The decline in the Sensex was due to the stocks of capital goods, healthcare and realty falling on the profit booking.
The broader based National Stock Exchange Index NIFTY decreased by 8.30 points to 5,339.60

According to the Brokers, investors became cautious ahead of the July inflation numbers to be released in the later part of Tuesday.

Tata Steel and Hindalco industries declined 1% after the June quarter results. The pharmaceuticals, Sun Pharma also shed 2%. Bank index was also trading down with Kotak Mahindra and HDFC Bank and Axis Bank trading under pressure. Larsen and Toubro and Infosys were also trading in red.
Coal India hopped up 2% after the Q1 results today. 

Among the buyers radar stocks were- BHEL, State bank of India, ICICI Bank, ITC, Ranbaxy Labs, Reliance Industries.


Stocks in NIFTY today:

1. Buy Jain Irrigation with a target of Rs 92 and stop loss of Rs 84.
    The stock is currently trading at Rs 85.80, down 1.2% on the BSE.  
2. Buy Asian Paints with a target of Rs 3950 and stop loss of Rs 3690.
    The stock is currently trading at Rs 3778, up 0.1% on the BSE.

Intraday Tips for Stocks Today: Outlook market Review for Monday

 After the last closure on Friday, Sensex opened in Green on Monday. Sensex was marginally up with a gain of 0.10 percent early this morning. The stocks which catalyst the market were ONGC, Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Bharti Airtel. The broader share index, Nifty was trading flat at 5320.55.
Sensex was up with 20 points and was trading at 17578.30. stocks which were among the market gainers were- ONGC with a market gain of 3 percent, Sun Pharmaceuticals at 1.1 percent and the telecom company, Bharti Airtel at a profit of 1.9 percent.
The Bombay Stock Exchange Oil and Gas index was up 1.01 percent, the BSE PSU Index increased 0.7 percent, the BSE Reality index was  up 0.5 percent. Though all the indexes were trading in green but BSE Capital Good index was trading in red with a decline of 0.24 percent.

The top traded stocks today were- SBI with 0.23 percent gain, ONGC which was at a gain of 2.15 percent, Hindalco with 1.46 percent change and Maruti Suzuki with 1.16 percent profit.

Siemens declined over 3 percent in the early trade. Other stocks which were under pressure today included- L&T, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, M&M and JP Associates.

Stock Nifty Intraday Tips for Friday

It was a flat start on the final day of the week. nifty opened flat today.The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark fell 0.25 percent on Friday early morning session of trading. The stocks which led to the losses included HDFC Bank which lost 0.3 percent, HDFC at a loss of 0.7 percent and Tata Motors with the maximum loss of 2.3 percent today. Sensex opened its shop with red mark today. It was trading at 17,542.30, a decline of 18.56 points or 0.1 per cent.

Nifty was trading in a red mark too. It slipped 0.12 percent and was trading at 5,316.60

Taking into account the individual indexes, the BSE Auto Index was too trading in negative. it was 0.8 per cent lower, the BSE Consumer durable index was also in the queue of losses with 0.36 per cent and the BSE Capital Goods Index was down by 0.3 per cent, however BSE IT Index was trading high today, it was up by 0.6 per cent.

Top traded stocks were HDFC, ITC and SBI.
The Asian shares desist on the last day of week as investors got expectation for new stimulus from the central banks gave support to a market.

The largest bank of the country, State Bank of India, is due to report its April-June earnings in the later part of the day today. The analyst suggest to sell the SBI share today.

3. Buy Marico with a target of Rs 203 and stop loss of Rs 190.30.

Stock Nifty Intraday tips for 9th August


Stock market today

Sensex opened with a swift on Thursday. Sensex climbed up to 100 points in the early morning session. The BSE benchmark was trading at 17,700.04 at 9:20 am in the morning today.

The NSE benchmark, Nifty was up 29 points to 5,367. Nifty touched the intraday high of 5,364.60 and a intraday low of 5,348.20
The index which drive the market up today were - Bank Index, Capital goods, IT index and the Auto stocks.According to the analyst India's industrial output is likely to depreciate by 0.9 percent  as compared to the output recorded in the month of May  which was 2.4 percent.

Stocks in news Today:

M&M rose up 2% after showing 4% rally yesterday due to the due to higher than expected numbers in Q1
The pharmacy leaders, Ranbaxy was up 1% ahead of the June quarter.
Tata Motors too was up 1% today.
On the buyers radar- Asian Paints, L&T, BHEL, PNB, DLF, TCS, ICICI Bank, JP Associates, Reliance Infrastructure, Coal India were the stocks today.
However, Bharti Airtel had a tough start today and it fell another 3% after the lower than expected profit. Similarly, Tata power fell 0.5 % today. Shares of Cairn India fell over 2 percent on the profit booking.

Stocks Today Tomorrow


stocks tomorrowDespite strong gains in U.S. markets and Asian markets, the BSE Sensex declined marginally today. BSE Sensex dropped 1.22 points to close at 17600.56 points. The Nifty was up 1.30 points to close at 5338.00 points.

At 3.15 pm BSE Sensex was trading 5.02 points lower at 17596.76 points. Nifty was trading 1.40 points lower at 5335.30 points.

In the morning session with the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex gained 29.22 points to 17631.00 and the National Stock Exchange's Nifty rose 12.60 points to 5349.30 points exists.

On Tuesday, more than one percent of the domestic stock market soared second day closed. Sensex up 188.82 points at 17601.78 points and the NSE Nifty gained 54.15 points to 5336.70 points.

Stocks in Nifty Today

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) benchmark, opened flat on Tuesday.
Sensex was up 43 points to 17,456 and the broader share index, Nifty opened at 5,295 and gained 13 points.

Although the trend is visible slowdown in Asian markets. Nikkei, Hang Sang, Straits Times, Cospi 0.6 to 0.1 per cent higher. Singapore Nifty is also trading strong. Shanghai Composite Index and Taiwan are in red.
Stocks which led to the market gained were Sun Pharma, Infosys which was up 1.5% while its competitors TCS and Wipro were up 0.5%.
Sesa Goa, ACC, bharti Airtel, Dr. Reddy's Labs, GAIL, DLF, Cipla, Tata Steel, JSPL, Hindalco and Tata Motors were also trading higher.
However, Hero Motocorp, Coal India, Maruti, State bank of India, ITC, ONGC and BHEL were trading under pressure.

stock nifty tipsThe 30-share index, Sensex, opened on a weak note today with other Asian markets. The market sentiments turned bearish after the US Federal Reserve didn't announce the stimulus package to boost its economy.
Sensex opened at 17,199.67, which was down by 57.71 points. the broader share index, Nifty was trading at 5,221.90, down 18.60 points. 
The BSE Midcap Index also declined 0.02 percent although the BSE Smallcap Index climbed higher 0.05 percent.
The two wheeler leaders, Hero Motocorp declined more than 2% after the less than expected numbers for July.
Bajaj Auto also fell 0.5% today.
IDFC, Ambuja Cements, Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Industries, SBI, PNB, Bank of Baroda, Hindalco, Sterlite, Tata Motors were trading under pressure today.
But the stocks which were drifting the market sentiments to positive notes were ICICI Bank, ITC, HUL and NTPC.

The market is trending lower and the broader indices are flat at this hour. Sensex is trading at 17184, down 72 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 5217, down 23 points. CNX Midcap index is down 0.03% and BSE Smallcap index is up 0.1%. The market breadth is positive with advances at 650 against declines of 620 on the NSE.

Buy 3i Infotech with a target of Rs 12 and stop loss of Rs 10.25, says Prakash Gaba, technical analyst, on Zee Business. The stock is currently trading at Rs 11, up 1.8% on the BSE.

The Stock Market opened on the weak cues on Wednesday as the traders booked profits near intermediate resistance levels.
The Stock market is still hopeful for some form of reforms after the Cabinet reshuffle.

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex rose up 7.35 points to 17,243.53 and the NSE benchmark was up 0.6 points at 5.229.60.
Coal India, Sterite Industries, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank were trading under pressure.
The pharma Company, Cipla, shot up 6% after more than expected numbers for the FY13.
The Bank index was trading high with SBI, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bank of Baroda on the buyer's radar. 
However, Tata Power, Hindalco, Reliance industries, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SAIL, Tata Motors, L&T and ITC were trading in red in the early morning session.


The CNX Midcap Index shot up 10 points to 7,179.


Tata Power, SAIL, Sterlite, Hindalco, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, ITC and L&T were under pressure in early trade.


The CNX Midcap Index rose just 10 points to 7,179. The market breadth was neutral. The BSE Midcap Index rose up 0.7 percent and the BSE Small Cap Index hopped up to 0.06 percent.
In the Sectoral Index, BSE Metal Index was trading under pressure and declined by 0.40 percent
But the BSE Healthcare  Index was up 0.95 percent.

Stock Nifty Tips for Today:

1.  Buy CESC with a target of Rs 315 and stop loss of Rs 290.  The stock is currently trading at Rs 302.35, up 1.7% on the BSE. 
2. Sell Balrampur Chini with a target of Rs 50 and stop loss of Rs 56.20. The stock is currently trading at Rs 54.10, up 0.1% on the BSE.
